Have you ever played someone in smash that just loves to annoy you with shield spamming and never trying to do anything but block everything you throw at them. WELL. That’s nice. I have a solution for you. So I know not everyone realizes this at first when playing smash bros. because there are so many weird ways you need to use to do attacks in smash bros. for some odd reason but there is a certain attack catogory called smash attacks which are powerful attacks that you can charge up and something that most people don’t know is how much damage to shield they do. The character cloud by the way is one of the best at this due to the fact that he has some pretty powerful smash attacks and the up smash can one hit shields if you get the full force of it, which in my opinion is actually pretty impresive. This may be due to the fact of cloud being the most powerful normal character in smash (according to the creaters) but it is also true to this day that there are many reasons why it may just be the fact that smash attacks are very powerful are great for shield draining.
